Marler Waterhouse Limited (see ‘Home’) is involved in the conception of a UK-wide lifelong learning property foundation.

This will span government and RICS-related property issues, relating also to other bodies such as RTPI.

The Foundation will combine property professional’s lifelong learning initiatives, with opportunities for the public and businesses to access low and nil cost seminars and supporting material.

Centres are expected to be established in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Cardiff. These will be operated through universities, RICS and the main property consultancies – representing an extension of existing activities where current providers of property education/lifelong learning wish to be involved.

The large property consultancies nationally, and also smaller practices on a regional basis, will in due course be offered opportunities for sponsorship, hosting of events, contribution of learning material etc.
